Rev. Maura made our ceremony dreams come true! We wanted a fun, personalized ceremony, and she made it happen. The process was so easy - we had phone calls (wine optional) to brainstorm and throw around different ideas. She is so creative and thoughtful and totally nailed everything we were looking for. She was also a blast to hang out with on our wedding day. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to write and perform our ceremony. Highly recommend Rev. Maura as your wedding officiant!
Wedding planning has a sneaky way of getting heavy with all the decisions to make and deadlines to meet. Pro tip: book the perfect officiant early on. It helped us more than I can express. Maura is the best, hands down! We envisioned a warm, simple and intimate ceremony that was short and to the point. She delivered 100% and worked hard to make it a low stress experience - for which I can’t thank her enough! Her process is methodical and personalized to perfection. She truly celebrated us from the start. The days leading up to our ceremony were made better by her check ins and sweet reminders to prioritize ourselves along the way. She brought unmatched energy, joy, enthusiasm, and true warmth to our special day - so much so that our families’ unanimously exclaimed how great she was. We are so grateful to have worked with her for such an important and meaningful occasion. Her willingness to adapt and overcome all while staying true to our vision (at times, even reeling us back to that very vision) made our day pure magic. It is well known that weddings can come with a plethora of challenges. Now add a national park, traveling and a family not used to the elements and you’re bound to have a good time. Maura took time to understand the settings significance, our story and our family. When weather threatened to legitimately rain on our parade, Maura jumped into action! Her umbrella was large enough to block the entirety of the rain throughout the region… Not really, but she might as well have. She quickly suggested that the ceremony and pictures be compressed into a single day event. Maura's impromptu thinking and vision for simplicity made our ceremony incredibly memorable and everything we could’ve wanted.
